This was the show that started it all; Cambridge University's "Footlights"
had regularly produced great ensemble comedy (and many followed), but this one
really put them on the map, and launched Peter Cook onto an impatient world. You
can hear the beginnings of his double act with Dudley Moore - as well as the prototype
for that great man of letters, E.L. Wisty. I challenge any human being to
avoid severely damaging stomach muscles; this is one superb CD. Please note;
the recording exists in severral formats; some incomplete, some including extra
material recorded for the American tour. Choose carefully! Disc: 1
